Fire Door Compliance

Fire doors are a critical part of a building's passive fire protection, holding back fire and smoke to protect escape routes. Our fire door inspections check that each door is correctly fitted, functional and compliant, with a clear report and certification.

We inspect each fire door in turn, record its condition, identify any failures and issue a written report with prioritised remedial actions.

Fire doors must be maintained under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and, for higher-risk residential buildings, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 require quarterly checks of fire doors.
